ACI has helped cultivate individual success along with confidence. In the various employment opportunities, ACI provides a structured work environment that prepares you for employment post-incarceration. Having proper employment skills and etiquette breeds a successful integration into employment on the outs. 

I really like how there are multiple options of employment through a company that fosters new and gained skills. I have personally worked at two ACI contracted companies and have enjoyed them both. I was employed at the Garment Factory which enabled me to learn how to sew. I used industrialized machinery for the first time and I felt empowered. It showed me, “I am able.” I was also motivated by this which allowed me to move into my current ACI position at Morrison. Working at Morrison as a kitchen aide has given me a sense of confidence in the kitchen and as a mother. I can take these skills home to my children! ACI is preparing me for successful employment as well as a successful life.
