Armando Aragon Earns ACI Employee of the Quarter Honors

Considered the ‘Go-To’ Guy for New IPS Staff at ASPC-Lewis

3rdQ2018
Mario Diaz (l), Operations Bureau Administrator and Eric Cole (r), Regional Operations Manager, present the ACI Employee of the Quarter Award to Armando Aragon, IPS, at the CME/Swift facility inside ASPC-Lewis

Congratulations Armando Aragon, Industry Program Specialist in Arizona State Prison Complex – Lewis, as ACI Employee of the 3rd Quarter for FY2018. Armando was hired in May 2011 and has since worked as an IPS for Business Development with business partner CME/Swift.

Armando was nominated by different staff for demonstrating high level of competency dealing with several issues that arise in his work area each day. From the 10,000+ tools he has to account for each day to the safety and security of inmates and contract staff.

He has taken on the task to ensure other contracts are supplied with overtime staff that consist of other IPS or CO’s, this requires contact with other employees that he handles with ease and zero complaints. If other employees were unable to cover certain contracts, he is one to always offer coverage and still perform his regular duties at Swift. He is considered the ‘go-to’ guy for new IPS staff in that work area.

The Employee Awards Committee thanks the entire ACI team for nominating different deserving staff members every quarter!

Congratulations Armando!
