It has given me a chance to work again at a fast pace, doing a variety of tasks

I have seven months to go, after being behind the fence for over twelve years. I wanted to let you know how my experience at Keefe Warehouse will help me after my release. I have worked most of my life at a variety of jobs, most requiring heavy responsibility. That being said, except for a year or so at the ACI Bakery, (2008-2009, which I considered a real job) I haven’t done much.

The experience has given me a chance to work again at a fast pace, doing a variety of tasks. While it may not be my preferred choice of work, it is very busy- and busy is what I like! It translates into any fast environment once the skills are learned for that particular job.
It’s brought the dexterity back to my hands and mind. Something you don’t realize you lose, until you hold a tool in your hand for the first time in twelve years.

I expected to leave prison with $100. Leaving with several thousand dollars will give my life and family peace of mind so I can get out and not struggle. I can hit the ground running, not having to adjust to working hard again.
