Wild Horse Inmate Program Shines in Show Low

Two Horses and a Burro Find New Homes at Joint BML & WHIP Adaption Event

ACI's Wild Horse Inmate Program (WHIP) successfully placed three of its trained animals during an adoption event in Show Low Arizona last weekend. "Two of our horses and a burro found new homes, " reported WHIP Supervisor Randy Helm. "The Bureau of Land Management (BML) also successfully placed 20 horses during the event."

Though three of the animals he took to the event were adopted, Ruth will have to wait until the next scheduled adoption event to find a home. In the meantime, she will continue her training in the program.

Thank you, Randy, for all your hard work and commitment to the success of this program.
