The Central Arizona Correctional Facility (CACF) and Florence West are a medium-custody private prisons in Florence, under contract with the Arizona Department of Corrections:
• CACF provides custody and treatment to 1,280 adult male inmates who have demonstrated a need for sex inmate treatment. The facility opened in December 2006.
• Florence West provides custody and treatment to 500 adult male inmates who have demonstrated a need for substance abuse treatment. The facility by contract also provides custody and care to 250 adult male inmates that are currently housed as Return-to-Custody (RTC). The facility opened in October 1997.

Both facilities are operated and managed by The GEO Group.
