I would like to express my gratitude to Arizona Correctional Industries by stating I have a new found confidence finding employment upon my release from DOC. When I first found out I had the opportunity to work an ACI job learning a trade and saving money, it was a big relief.

I’ve been working at Fiesta Canning for four and one half years in the maintenance department as a boiler operator and pipe fitter. Coming into DOC I did not have a trade, now I have two that I can pursue as a career. Not only have I been fortunate to learn trades working for Arizona Correctional Industries, I have saved in my retention fund over $10,000 which will help me purchase a vehicle. With a vehicle I will have endless job opportunities. Thank you for this opportunity.
