My experience working for ACI has been both positive and beneficial. I’ve been working maintenance at Fiesta Canning for almost two years. I’ve always been a mechanic so I can’t really say that I gained new mechanical skills. I did, however, learn to operate in a fast paced work environment, which in itself is a valuable skill.

I’ve also developed a good work ethic. I wake up early every day and go to work. I very rarely miss work. On occasions that I do miss work, it’s never unexcused. 

It goes without saying I’m also saving money. I’ve been released three times from prison with nothing but a gate fee. This time I’ll have some money and real work experience. I’ll use both to start life over from someplace other than rock bottom. I appreciate this opportunity and I’m taking full advantage of it.
