It’s hard for me to explain or express how grateful I am to MVD for this job experience. I have no other means of support and without my job I would not be able to afford simple things (the so to speak “creature comforts”). Other than the simple pleasures, there are so many other things about my job that bring much joy. The interaction of helping others has built my self-esteem. I am able to say that if I had not received this opportunity I would not have grown as I have. This job has enabled me to actually look into myself and find values I had not known before existed. All that being said, I think the opportunity for these programs is one the best forms of self improvement there is in this prison.
