ACI Hometown Here Project has been a huge stepping stone and also a big learning experience for me. Starting from never having any telemarketing experience to finding a skill inside me that I never thought existed. Hometown Hero Project means a lot to me considering I am a father of a beautiful five-year old daughter who will need me back in her life and have to work every day to provide for her. This job is keeping me proactive mentally and physically from waking up Monday through Friday from 0400 to 1530. This job is helping me provide for myself while at the same time saving money so when I’m released I will have a huge jump start on being able to provide for myself and my daughter. One of my biggest goals in life is to take my daughter to Disneyland or someplace special like that where she will have the time of her life. With this job and being able to save money on a retention account, I just may be able to fulfill that goal. The Hometown Here Project also gives you an opportunity to continue this career on the outside. My goal is to continue this job while being sober and proactive with society.
