His efforts helped increase the number of inmates working with ACI at the Hometown Hero Project call center from 36 to 59

Please join ACI in congratulating Jesus Martinez for being voted as the Employee of the Month for the 4th Quarter 2019.

Jesus Martinez
Jesus Martinez

Mr. Martinez was hired in November 2016 as an Industry Program Specialist (IPS). Mr. Martinez was nominated for being instrumental in opening the expanded Hometown Hero Project call center at ASPC-Tucson, Whetstone. This has been an on going expansion project that took nearly six years to complete, having gone through all the nuances of building a new call center within a State prison.

Assisting with marrying a private business person’s ideas with that of ADC prison security practices, to include appropriate inmate restroom facilities, eliminating blind spots, placement of both Hometown Hero and ACI security cameras, break enclosures, a secure supervisors area, concrete sidewalks, etc.

Mr. Martinez efforts assisted in the new center's increased number of inmates working with ACI at the Hometown Hero Project call center from 36 to 59. That will amount to countless more inmates who will be less likely to recidivate over time.

His efforts have not gone unnoticed. Congratulations Mr. Martinez!
